Tropic Air today resumed service between Belize City’s Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) and Flores, Peten, Guatemala (FRS). Initially, flights will operate three times weekly, and are conveniently timed to connect with Tropic Air service from Cancún, Mexico, domestic flights within Belize, as well as from most international carrier’s flights into Belize.
“We are thrilled to celebrate another remarkable milestone in the post pandemic recovery for Belize” said John Greif III, President of Tropic Air. “Today we also began service to San Ignacio, and soon we plan to add nonstop, twin engine, service to San Salvador utilizing our Beechcraft 1900 airliner. Plus, there is more to come.”
“We are proud to be the only airline flying between Belize City and Flores, Peten”, said Steve Schulte, President of Tropic Air. “The commencement of service to Flores is coming at a time, when more visitors than ever are coming to Belize, and we look forward to offering them more options to get here. This is especially true of European visitors that are starting their holidays in neighboring Guatemala, but want to finish it in Belize”
The operational times for the Flores flights are shared below. All times are local.
